I want to see young adults making an impact in their world. I like to challenge young people to be more aware of the issues that affect them and using appriopriate advocacy skills to seek a change in policies, culture and traditions that help perpetuate these issues. The main thing nowadays is the issue of "peace" everywhere in the world. When I attend international programs I am asked if my people are terrorists, as though all Muslims especially Pakistanis are terrorists. Really I’m very upset and disheartened now by hearing this from a lot of people and even very well educated people. We in Pakistan are peacekeepers. We believe in peace.

My life is an interesting one because I live every moment as if it were unscripted and beyond prediction while at the same time fully embracing my ultimate purpose in life and the many opportunities I have been given to fulfill it. Getting involved in my community has always been a strong point for me, but I never really felt like I was making a difference in my life and the lives of those around me has not. ( read more)
